And InDesign is a whole other bag of problems and glitches that can really put you in a bind if you're putting together a company catalog. But nope, InDesign it's the opposite, making the change completely pointless. Sure, this would have made sense in the beginning, but to change what so many people are familiar with this late in the game? Plus, you'd think they implement that with all programs. And after users become familiar with that, they decide to change it so that when you size something, holding shift changes the width and height independent of each other. For instance, resizing in Photoshop used to require holding shift to maintain original dimensions. A ton of small things that just don't make sense.

People who bought their products previously no longer have license to use the software they once purchased if they're not using Cloud. I like to have a bank of some of the photos that I'm using pretty often for different kinds of projects so that I can access them easily, no matter where I'm working with this cloud-based solution.Ĭons: Adobe seems to have something of a monopoly on the graphic design market, because I don't think they'd be getting away with their practices otherwise. And just some things to think about, maybe organize what are the kinds of projects that you want to be doing, think about saving some things in the cloud so that you can work on them from a variety of locations. For the price point, it's definitely worth it. If you're thinking about getting Adobe Creative Cloud, I would say absolutely, go for it. There was a little bit of navigating around some new programs for me, but once I got used to it, the integration across different platforms has actually been pretty amazing. I find that the login is pretty easy, the updates are pretty easy.

I was pretty amazed when I first started using it, how simple it was to download the app onto any device I was using and to be able to open any of the programs within the suite of solutions that Adobe Creative Cloud has. One of the things I loved about the installation and implementation of Adobe Creative Cloud is just how easy it actually is. I can store some of my images and some of my projects in the cloud and be able to work on them in a variety of locations. I can also take it with me on my laptop, have the same functionality. So I can work on Creative Cloud from my desktop in my stationary office. Some of the reasons I chose Creative Cloud are just found in the name, in terms of having a cloud-based solution. When I started using Creative Cloud, productivity blew up because I had everything in one place rather than trying to have all these make do, kind of hold things together with scotch tape sort of solutions. So before I used the Adobe Creative Cloud, I was piecing together solutions from one-off programs, trying to find things that would resize photos, trying to find ways to work with PDFs, trying to find ways to just have solutions for creativity.
